Afree spirited Gemiini born in1956 d*__*b Music has played a big part of my life....retired from the rat race...am content now just to boogie to my own beat!...I am a BIG FAN of all types music made since the early 1950`s and The Blues even before that...BIG SOUTHERN ROCK FAN...GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIMES FOREVER !!! ...We hung out with the Outlaws back in the day,as we followed em around on the concert trail,I try to do a daily blast of Green Grass <3<3<3 to honor these guys and all the deceased!..
I am a musician,a guitarist,sometimes vocalist...but also an old hippie relic,haha..from a bygone era where the bands I were in played Rock & Roll and Southern Rock,extended songs, jams constantly were the norm esp. upon request!.....I never like to talk "shop" on here,or at least I try not too,once you get to know me....In case you ask.......Here is my spin on this subject:------->There are a few Jam Bands still out there,I know.. But in most cases,the long guitar/drum.solos etc,the long extended jams,the improvisations have gone the way of the dinosaur,the dodo bird and the woolly mammoth as music is mixed and formatted nowadays.With all this newer technology now,you wonder if bands are actually playing their instruments !!!...What I am trying to say is--Don`t knock the old time solos/extended jams,etc unless you`ve been up on stage to play them in front of a concert audience !...It takes willpower,stamina and total dedication to get up there and do that!!!....................There ain`t no Revolution,It`s Evolution!!! ---Duane Allman...still true,40+ years later!..Eat a peach!
