drawing at the San Francisco Art Institute. After moving to New York, she formed the soft-metal group, The Metallic Falcons, with Sierra Casady. Following their 2006 release, Desert Doughnuts (Voodoo Eros), Baim moved to Los Angeles. Here she wrote and recorded music for her first solo record, Death of the Sun (DiCristina/ Revolver USA). Baim soon returned to New York and began writing the album, Laughing Boy. Recorded on the south side of Chicago, it was released in April 2009 (DiCristina/ Revolver USA). Most recently, Baim has collaborated on film scores with both the French group, Pillars of Fire and artist, Susanne Winterling and performed in Antony and the Johnsons- Another World Installation. Tours with Antony and the Johnsons, Devendra Banhart, Lichens, Pit Er Pat and Jana Hunter have taken her to stages around the world. Baim continues to draw. She lives and works in New York.*
