Our double-threat Artistic Director Andrew Litton sits down at the Steinway and performs the dazzling (and dazzlingly difficult) Gershwin Concerto—and conducts the Orchestra at the same time!
This jazzy masterpiece is the centerpiece of a program inspired by dance—Mexican café tunes, Bohemian peasant rhythms and Tin Pan Alley syncopations—all masterfully rendered by Mr. Litton!
